Your business profile is the source of truth for who your business is. Every customer-facing surface in Intellivizz CRM — confirmation emails, invoices, booking pages, the chat widget, SMS sender names, A2P registration paperwork, payment receipts — pulls from this single record. Filling it out correctly now saves you from inconsistent branding across 50+ surfaces later.
This is also the data we submit to The Campaign Registry (TCR) for A2P 10DLC carrier registration. Inaccurate business info is the #1 cause of A2P brand-rejection delays — so type carefully and use the same legal entity name that appears on your IRS EIN paperwork or your state business registration.
22. From the dashboard, click your profile picture in the top-right
23. Select Settings
24. In the left navigation, click "Company"
25. You'll see the Business Profile form

| Field | What goes here | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Business Name (DBA) | The name customers see (e.g., "Sunset Family Dental") | Appears on emails, SMS sender, invoices, booking pages |
| Legal Entity Name | Your registered legal entity (e.g., "Sunset Family Dental LLC") | Used for A2P 10DLC brand registration and tax forms |
| EIN (US) or BN (Canada) | Your federal tax identification number | Required for A2P 10DLC; never shown to customers |
| Industry | Choose the closest match from the dropdown | Affects A2P campaign approval rules |
| Business Phone | Main contact number | Shown on customer-facing pages; can be different from your CRM phone numbers |
| Business Email | Main contact address | Default "reply-to" address on outgoing emails |
| Website URL | Your existing website (if any) | Linked from invoices and booking pages |
This is the registered address of your business — the one on file with the state, used on invoices, and submitted to TCR for A2P. If you have multiple locations, use the primary/headquarters address. You can add additional location records later if needed.
26. Street address line 1 (and line 2 if applicable, e.g., suite or unit)
27. City
28. State / Province (dropdown)
29. ZIP / Postal Code
30. Country (dropdown — defaults to US/Canada)
WARNING — Use a real, verifiable address
Don't use a virtual mailbox or PO Box for your registered business address — carriers may reject the A2P 10DLC brand registration. If your business genuinely operates from a home address, that's fine and acceptable. The key is that the address must match what's on your state business registration and EIN paperwork.

31. Time Zone: choose your business's primary operating time zone (drives report times and account-level scheduling)
32. Locale: defaults to en-US; change to en-CA for Canada or en-GB for UK if applicable
33. Currency: defaults to USD; change to CAD, EUR, GBP as needed
34. First Day of Week: Sunday (US default) or Monday (most other countries)
35. Click Save at the bottom of the form
36. Refresh the page — confirm everything stuck
37. Open Settings → Company in a new tab to double-check the legal name and EIN are exactly right
The Industry dropdown contains TCR-aligned categories. Choose the closest match — don't worry about being perfect, A2P review reads the actual campaign description more closely than this field. The most-used categories:
Healthcare / Medical / Dental
Real Estate
Legal Services
Financial Services / Accounting
Hospitality / Restaurant
Education / Training
Professional Services (default catch-all)
Retail / E-commerce
Automotive / Repair
Beauty / Personal Care
Fitness / Wellness
Worked example: Family-owned dental practice (HIPAA tier)
DBA: "Sunset Family Dental" — the name on the building.
Legal Entity Name: "Sunset Family Dental, P.C." — the actual professional corporation registered in California.
EIN: their 9-digit federal tax ID, copied directly from their IRS CP-575 letter.
Industry: Healthcare / Medical / Dental.
Address: 1834 Ocean Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94112 (matches state registration).
Time Zone: Pacific Time — even though their main office manager works remote from Reno (Mountain Time), the business operates on Pacific.
Worked example: Sole-proprietor real estate agent
DBA: "Marco Hidalgo Real Estate".
Legal Entity Name: "Marco Hidalgo" — he's a sole proprietor, not an LLC, so the legal name is just his personal name.
EIN: he uses his SSN as the tax ID since he never filed for an EIN. (This is allowed for sole props but he should consider getting an EIN for privacy.)
Industry: Real Estate.
Address: his home office, 4520 Maple Drive, Suite B, Austin, TX 78704.
Note: he plans to register an LLC next quarter — when he does, he'll come back here and update both the Legal Entity Name and EIN, then re-submit his A2P registration with the new entity.
Worked example: Multi-location accounting firm
DBA: "Heritage Tax & Accounting".
Legal Entity Name: "Heritage Tax & Accounting LLC".
EIN: their primary EIN (they use one entity across all 4 offices).
Industry: Financial Services / Accounting.
Address: their HQ in Charlotte, NC. The other 3 locations are added later as Sub-Locations under Settings → Locations — not as separate businesses.
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| EIN field rejects my number | EIN must be 9 digits, no dashes, no spaces | Re-type as 9 consecutive digits (e.g., 123456789, not 12-3456789) |
| Save button is grayed out | Required field is empty (look for red asterisks) | Scroll up and check Business Name, Legal Name, EIN, Address, Industry are all filled |
| A2P registration later gets rejected for "address mismatch" | Profile address differs from state business registration | Update the profile address to exactly match what's on file with your state, save, then re-submit A2P from Settings → Phone Numbers |
| A2P rejection for "unverifiable EIN" | Typo in EIN, OR EIN is too new (less than 30 days old) | Verify EIN matches IRS letter character-for-character; if EIN is brand new, wait 2–4 weeks for IRS systems to propagate to TCR's verification source |
| Time zone keeps reverting | User-level time zone overriding account-level (browser cached) | Hard-refresh page (Ctrl+Shift+R or Cmd+Shift+R); confirm Settings → My Profile → Time Zone is also set correctly |
| Legal name field doesn't match what I want to type | Field has hidden character limit (255) | Shorten or use a more standard form (e.g., "LLC" not "Limited Liability Company") |
